The Environment

We are pleased to be able to share our environmental studies with you and hope you can appreciate that we are one of the only environmentally conscious oil companies in the world. We have a plan to help find and solve the potential health crisis due to fracking and geographical anomalies impacting our people and infrastructures. With TERA, not only can we see the issues, but we can determine the best ways to remediate them, thereby saving lives, and preserving the infrastructure of our towns and cities with practical, cost-effective solutions.

How Fracking of the Eagle Ford Shale Causes Water Contamination   //   January 2018

The greatest concern in the shale oil fracking controversy is the potential for aquifer contamination. This is entirely justified because the long-term effects are unknown and potentially catastrophic. It well may be too late. With over 15,000 wells in the Eagle Ford shale area, the Texas Railroad Commission is just now receiving reports of fresh water contamination. So what are the remediations? With our technology we can trace the source of the contamination and help solve the problem.

Blue Ridge Salt Dome Environmental Hazard Study   //   November 2016

A long ago abandoned salt mine created a potential natural disaster for the people of Blue Ridge and the surrounding towns. A radial fracture of the mine began to accelerate and we were called in to examine the underground structure. Many homes (as well as 11 major interstate pipelines) cross high areas of subsidence at Blue Ridge. Two high pressure gas transmission lines run through the neighborhoods and are close to the schools. Current subsidence is creating high stress on the pipelines, and is releasing methane and radon gases into nearby homes and businesses. Using TERA, we determined that the consequences of ignoring this possible catastrophic event could be disastrous.
